Linda Eskin's Laws I saw a web site recently where people were invited to submit their own "laws" - things like Murphy's Law ("If anything can go wrong, it will."). What a great idea! There were a bunch of good ones posted already, too. So I jotted down a few of my own, which had been rattling around in my skull for years now. Alas! Submittals were only accepted from a closed group of self-described "complex and sophisticated minds", "doers, thinkers, and writers". Hmmph. I don't know where that leaves the rest of us common slobs (non-thinkers?), but for what it's worth, here are my laws:
