This is "Grandma" - Elizabeth (Lisa) Eskin.  We were lucky to have her visit with us over Thanksgiving.  Sabrina and Eeyore came to know her as the bearer of carrots and tangerines, but somehow managed to be gentle about begging from her.  Grandma is a great role model - at 86 she lives on her own, drives, attends college courses, hangs out at the movies with her friends, and is even occasionally an extra at some of the Burbank studios.

Here's a really bad photo of Michael (ages ago) with his late grandfather, Bernie Skolnik, and his now-ninety-something "Nana", Ida Skolnik.  Nana is cool - she used to live in a big retirement community/apartment - she wasn't allowed to have pets, but every night she'd sneak some of her dinner out to a stray calico kitty she befriended.  I hope I'm doing as well in my 90's!  Lately Nana has endured a stroke, a broken hip, a heart attack (now has a pacemaker), but is doing well, considering.  She is still able to visit with her great grandkids (Michael's sister's children) who live near her in Northern California.
