Greenmount House Hotel, Dingle - We stayed here. Very nice, modern, clean, bright. Leans a little more toward being a hotel than a B & B, although there is breakfast, and it's owned and run by a nice couple who will take very good care of you. Cattle graze in the fields across the road, and flocks of sheep baaa on the hillside out back. The whole Dingle area is beautiful. If you get anywhere near there, do not miss it.

If you are planning to go riding while in Ireland, contact the stables at least a day in advance! We went in the off season, and in all but two places we found they were already booked for the entire day we would be there.
When you are looking for places to go, remember that a "holiday" is a longer stay (a week +/-), while a "break" is a quick getaway (a few days).
If you rent horses in the U.S., plodding along on a dreary horse in a Western saddle, be prepared for culture shock. One place had me galloping and jumping cross country on a one-hour ride. Memorize these words "I've ridden just a little bit. I'm a beginning rider." If you have your own horse, ride and train regularly, and possibly show or compete, then you might want to say you are something other than a beginner. The standards in Ireland (and England) are much, much higher, both for horses and riders, than at rental places in the U.S..

Top Flight Equestrian Centre - Learn to ride or improve your riding, showjumping and holiday breaks. - I had the good fortune to ride here, just for an hour or so, and I'd go back for a whole summer if I had a chance. The family who own it are the nicest people anywhere, the facility is amazing (huge green pastures with cross country jumps, a river, a huge indoor arena with a coffee shop, even), and the horses are off the scale of anything I've ever rented in the U.S.. Definitely the high point of my trip to Ireland.
